NAZARETH are back with power
With new singer Carl Sentance on big European tour in September, 1 concert in Poland
They belong to the first generation of Hard & Heavy bands. Founded in 1968, together with bands as Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Uriah Heep and Black Sabbath, NAZARETH formed significantly the style of hard rock.
NAZARETH have sold over 60 million records. They are (in addition to Simple Minds), the most successful rock band in Scotland. In other words: NAZARETH are one of the giants of the music-genre!
“Changing Times” is the official slogan of the upcoming European tour of this legendary band – it could also be named “Back to Future”. When the scottish-rock-dinosaurs roll towards 24 European cities to rock classics such as “This Flight Tonight”, “Shanghai’d in Shanghai”, “Holy Roller”, “Dream On” or “Love Hurts” in late summer, they stick not only in good old times of the wild 70s, it can be experienced that the band is still focussing future, rocking world wide stages for 47 years.
One of the reason is the brand new singer: Carl Sentance (54). The Welsh concludes with his gifted rock voice the big gap of veteran and band’s co-founder Dan McCafferty (get out in 2013). Sentance was frontman of bands like Krokus or Tokyo Blade back, and was performing with great musicians like Geezer Butler (Black Sabbath), Paul Chapman (UFO), Vinny Appice (Dio, Sabbath) or Don Airey (Deep Purple).
On Sunday, October 11th, NAZARETH will stop in Poland for only one concert. They will be supported by Luke Gasser and locally by Traffic Junky from Olsztyn at Progresja Music Zone, Warszawa. This big concert is a must for every rock-fan!
